August 2023 Highlights

A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Lehigh students arrive in Bethlehem soon, and the staff is in preparation to host a welcome event for the incoming first-year class, a campus work-study fair, and a band camp. A discernible buzz fills the center as the students explore their creative side. We look forward to their return and the first concert of the 2023-2024 season with Professor Bill Warfield and the Hell's Kitchen Funk Orchestra on September 9. If you didn't have a chance to view our Presenting Series preview video, please take a few moments to explore the upcoming season. I look forward to seeing you soon.  With Gratitude, Mark Fitzgerald Wilson

SPHINX VIRTUOSI RESIDENCY
Sphinx Virtuosi members are alumni of Detroit’s Sphinx Competition; an annual contest focused on increasing the representation of Black and Latinx string players in classical music. In conjunction with their concert on FRI SEP 29, the ensemble will hold a week-long residency, including a performance for middle and high school students and speaking engagements with community members. ACADEMY OF VOCAL ARTS

New subscribers can purchase tickets now (before tickets go on sale November 9 to the public), and current subscribers can add this performance to their order—contact Ticket Services with questions.
