Bridge Beyond Addiction Scholarship Event

Behind the mask is Former NHL Goaltender Clint Malarchuk’s brutally honest look inside mental illness & alcoholism.  No job in the world is as intimidating, exhilarating and as stress-ridden as that of an NHL hockey goaltender. Now imagine doing that job while suffering high anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and depression. Clint Malarchuk shares his extraordinary and heart wrenching life story in his relentless effort to help end the stigma of mental illness and substance use disorder. This event benefits Bridge Beyond Addiction, a Lehigh Valley nonprofit operating under the fiscal sponsorship of Humanitarian Social Innovations, a 501(c)(3) organization which strives to remove the financial barriers for Lehigh Valley residents leaving inpatient treatment and wanting to enter sober recovery residences. 

This event is appropriate for youth ages 14 and up.
