October is filled with fantastic performances. There is something for everyone: a best-selling author, a world-renowned symphony, and the return of our Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital Family Series, to name a few of our Presenting Series events. The Department of Theatre presents its first show of the season, and Music Department ensembles fill Baker Hall with beautiful voices and noteworthy Jazz. Thank you for connecting with us. THE BACON BROTHERS | FRI OCT 6 | SOLD-OUT!
Kevin and Michael Bacon have spent the past quarter-century defining their sound called "Forosoco" — a blend of folk, rock, soul, and country influences, delivered by two songwriters who were born to collaborate.

The Department of Theatre presents a gritty, in-your-face comedy by Chisa Hutchinson that shines a light on what we naturally turn away from, racism. Kashi Johnson, director.

As one of the most celebrated writers of our time, his popular and critically acclaimed works bend genres while reaching audiences of all ages. His work includes Neverwhere, Anansi Boys, Smoke and Mirrors, Fragile Things, Norse Mythology, The View from the Cheap Seats, American Gods and Coraline.

SAN DIEGO SYMPHONY | THU OCT 12
In the 100-plus years since its inception, the SDSO has become one of the leading orchestras in the United States. Their concert at Zoellner will be the same repertoire the orchestra premieres the next day at Carnegie Hall. Don't miss a world-class NYC concert experience in the Lehigh Valley. 

FAMILY DAY & ARTRAGEOUS | SAT OCT 14
Join us for FREE music, food, activities and more! It will be a fun day for the whole family. The day includes ticketed performances by Artrageous, an adventure of arts that combines live art, a rock concert, imaginative movement, vocal performance, comedy, blacklight Bunraku, Artpunk wear, and inclusion into one magical experience. The performances are part of the Lehigh Reilly Children's Hospital Family Series.

MOMIX | SAT OCT 28
Seamlessly blending illusion, acrobatics, magic, and whimsy, MOMIX sends audiences flying down the rabbit hole in Moses Pendleton’s newest creation, ALICE, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland. 

JAZZ REPERTORY ORCHESTRA | SUN OCT 29
The university's top Jazz students along with the professional Broadway and studio musicians who make up the Jazz faculty perform a collection of Big Band standards past and present. From Count Basie to Thad Jones, this is a concert not to be missed.
