Mark Fitzgerald Wilson, Executive Director of Zoellner Arts Center welcomes Rita M. Jones, Ph. D., Director of the Center for Gender Equity, to moderate a conversation with three members of the Resistance Revival Chorus. The discussion centers on the connections between activism and the role of gender in music, and the healing power of finding joy through social justice work and resistance. This event is part of Soaring Together: Celebrating Lehigh Women and 50 Years of Coeducation.

PANELISTS:
Zakiyah Ansari is the advocacy director of the New York State  Alliance for Quality Education and has dedicated almost 20 years to the fight for educational justice and ending the oppression of black and brown communities. 
Meah Pace is an activist and renowned singer/songwriter on the New York City soul scene. She combines her passions for social justice and music touring with the grassroots organization Vote Common Good.
Sally Rumble is a multidisciplinary creative using justice and love to build communities and engage hearts and minds. She’s worked with Justice League NYC, Children of Promise, and partnered with the Obama Foundation.
