Volunteers are vital to our programs (in fact, they dedicate over 7000 hours a year each season to Zoellner)! Would you like to be an event usher, marketing assistant, or outreach assistant?
VOLUNTEER USHERS: To volunteer to be an usher, contact the audience services coordinator at 610-758-5453 or email. Please include complete contact information for you and any other prospective ushers in your message.
- Usher Overview: Ushers report to the House Manager. Ushers provide excellent customer service to patrons attending events. Duties may include greeting patrons, scanning tickets, directing patrons, and enforcing Front of House Policy. Ushers also assist in evacuating patrons from the theatres in the case of an emergency.
- Physical Requirements include, but are not limited to: standing for up to two hours, climb steps, reach with hands and arms, balance/stoop/kneel/crouch, and whisper/speak quietly during performances. Reasonable accommodations can be made as needed.
